We had revealed that Raghavendra Rajkumar had walked out of J Chandrakala directorial “Chillum” after his fans’ protest against the decision. According to sources, popular Telugu actor Jagapathy Babu is all set to replace Raghavendra Rajkumar.
Chandrakala has now approached Jagapathi Babu for filling the role. She is in discussion with the actor for the role. The first round of discussion was done over the phone. She will soon be heading to Hyderabad to meet the actor and narrate the role to him.
An official announcement will be made after he signs on the dotted line. The film is very important for the lead Manoranjan Ravichandran, as his first two films have failed in the box office. Manoranjan will be seen in a rugged look and this film can be called his first mass film.
The film has Priyanka Thimmesh as the female lead with Diwakar, Raghav Nath, Sandeep and Bharath Chandrakala playing vital roles. Naveen Kumar is the film’s cinematographer. The makers aim to release the film early next year.
