Kantara team shares its film experiences in Mangaluru

Mangaluru: The team of actor-director Rishab Shetty’s Kannada film Kantara, shared their experience with the media in Mangaluru. Kantara’s film is set against the backdrop of the worship of the demi-gods of the region but it is making waves all over the world.

Rishab Shetty said that Mukesh, who is a Daiva dancer, has helped in making all the scenes related to scenes pertaining to Daivas come out beautifully. I dedicate this film to late Appu Puneeth Rajkumar and also Mukesh for the above reason. The film is becoming popular by the in all parts of the world. Devotees of Daivas, Panjurli and Guliga are all over the world, he said and added that there has been a demand to dub the movie in other languages as well.

Saptami Gowda, the heroine, said, “I learnt Coastal Kannada, especially for dialogues in Kantara. She also said that the Kola experience has shown me a new world, adding that this is her second film.

Mukesh said that the film has been made without insulting the demi-god and that is the uniqueness of the story.

Pramod Shetty, who played antagonist, actors Prakash Tuminadu, Sanil Guru and others were present. Swaraj, who made a name for himself in the play Shivdoote Guliga and has a role in the film was present too.
