Yash-starrer “KGF Chapter 2”, which will be releasing in five languages on October 23, is one of the most anticipated films in India. Its prequel, “KGF Chapter 1” was a blockbuster grossing more than Rs 250 crores. According to trade analysts and looking at the hype, it is expected that “KGF Chapter 2” will surely cross Rs 1,000 crores.

Meanwhile, sources close to the team say that the makers have been offered a huge amount of money for the digital, as well as satellite rights, of the film. Amazon Prime, which had bought “KGF Chapter 1” for Rs 18 crores, now wants to purchase the rights of the sequel as well. They are ready to pay Rs 55 crores for the rights to the film in all languages!!

It can be noted that “KGF Chapter 1” is one of the most viewed films ever on Amazon Prime and they do not want to miss out on the second instalment in the franchise.

Coming to the satellite rights, a popular channel has offered the makers Rs 120 crores for the rights to the film in all the five languages. If this news is true, then this will be the highest ever sum paid for a film. Currently, “2.0” holds the record, as it was purchased for Rs 110 crores.

“KGF Chapter 2” stars Yash, Srinidhi Shetty, Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon and Acyuth Kumar in the lead roles. Ravi Basrur and Bhuvan Gowda are working on the music and camera respectively.
