Kiccha Sudeepa is undoubtedly the most popular actor from Karnataka to have made a mark in other film industries. But Sudeepa always gives preference to Kannada and his latest decision has proved that this is indeed true.
Sudeepa has been approached for a multilingual film based on the Mahabharatha epic, also starring Amitabh Bachchan and Vikram. The star has also received an offer from director Rohit Shetty. The filmmakers are keen on working with Sudeepa and discussions are on, but the actor has not given a nod to the either the multilingual film or the Rohit Shetty directorial.
The reason, we hear, is that he wants to fulfill his commitments in Kannada before signing on any more projects. He is currently shooting for Prem’s “The Villain” and will follow that up with S Krishna’s “Pailwan” and Surappa Babu’s “Kotigobba 3”. In between, he also has a film with senior actor Ambareesh titled “Ambi Ning Vaisyatho”, which is being made under the banner of Kichcha Productions.
