As the title suggests, the film’s hero is wheelchair-bound and is in love with a girl. She happens to be blind and is a sex worker. So what happens when the hero gets to know that his lady love is a sex worker is what forms the crux of the story. But don’t even get a thought that Wheelchair Romeo is a serious film. There is a lot of sentiment involved and also a good measure of comedy thrown in. Audiences are bound to be stoked by what’s happening on screen. Meanwhile, Natraj has proven his talent already and has previously not only been an assistant director but also a dialogue writer on films like Orange snd Zoom.

The film has television talent Ram Chetan as the leading man and Mayuri as the leading lady. BJ Bharat has lent the music and V Nagendra Prasad and Jayanth Kaikini have penned the lyrics. Santosh Pandi has helmed the camera. The film has been produced by Agastya Creations and funded by Venkatachalaiah. Wheelchair Romeo will release in May.
