The makers of “Rajasthan Diaries” have decided to begin shooting for the film on Ugadi, an auspicious day. The first schedule will be shot in Rajasthan on April 6.
Touted to be a romantic drama, “Rajasthan Diaries” features Manvitha Harish as the female lead and introduces Sumukha as a hero. The film also includes Rajesh Nataranga, Arun Sagar, Sushma Nanaiah and Virginia Rodrigues.
The makers are also looking to rope-in a well-known Bollywood actor, whose name they will announce once he gives them the green signal.
“Rajasthan Diaries”, a Kannada-Marathi bilingual, is being directed by Nanditha Yadav and produced by Cinemantra’s Shalini Jeetendra Thackeray.
Arjun Janya will score the music of the film, while Raghavendra will be the cinematographer.
