Everyone knows that Sudeep has been roped in for Kannada director Anup Bhandari’s next movie “Phantom”. The film is being produced by ‘Joke’ Manju. Another of Sudeep’s film “Kotigobba 3”, which has been directed by Shiva Karthik, is set to release this year as well. However, it has been rumoured that South Indian actress Samatha Akkineni will be cast opposite Sudeep in “Phantom”. The film is currently in the pre-production phase.
Sudeep and Samantha had last worked together in SS Rajamouli’s 2012 movie “Eega”. Samantha has also acted in the Kannada movie “U Turn” as well as in the Telegu and Tamil versions of the film.
Reports also suggest that Anup Bhandari’s younger brother Nirup will be seen acting in “Phantom”.
