Sharan made his debut as a lead actor with “Raambo”, which became a big hit upon its release. After playing the role of a comic relief for nearly 100 films, the success of “Raambo” cemented his place as hero.
When its sequel, “Raambo 2” was released by the same team after many years, that too became a blockbuster hit, and had a successful 100-day run at the box office.
The makers are now looking to take the “Raambo” series forward and make it a franchise. Tharun Kishore Sudhir, who was the creative head of “Raambo 2”, as well as the first part, feels that just like Bollywood has the “Golmaal” series and “Housefull” series, “Raambo” should also be made into a franchise.
Sudhir is now going through scripts and will announce the third part soon. He also revealed that there will be no continuation in the stories and that the third part will have a new story.
Meanwhile, Sharan is waiting to complete “Avatar Purusha”, directed by Suni.
