Bettada Kanivegala is a folklore-inspired song written by Kotinaganahalli Rammaiah. ‘Mookahakki’ director Ninasam Manju had recently finished shooting his film based on a true story, Kanneri. The song depicts the life of a young Didalli girl.
Nagathihalli Chandrashekar released the first look of the film a few days ago. Kotinaganahalli Rammaiah is responsible for the story. The Didalli protest was a tribal woman parading naked to protest the eviction of nearly 587 households from Kodagu. What happened to the women and the children after the extermination of tribal households is told in the film, which depicts how their lives have turned into a struggle. Archana Madhusudhan is acted in lead role, Arun Sagar, Kari Subbaiah, Anita Bhatt and MK Matt are among the talented artists on the film’s cast.
To emphasize reality, the film features footage of tribal people in many parts of the state, among them HD Kotte and Kolar. Ganesh Hegde has handled the camera work, Manikant Kadri has provided the music, and Sujith S Nayak has been in charge of the editing.
