Popular South Indian actress Sithara has been roped in to play the lead role in “Amma I Love You”, which is the 51st film from Dwarakish Pictures banner. “Amma I Love You” is a remake of Tamil hit film “Pichaikkaran.” Since the action drama has a storyline that runs on a mother-son relationship, the makers were looking out for the right actress.
Sithara was chosen for the role. The film is the fourth collaboration of director Chaitanya and Chiranjeevi Sarja. Initially Ishaan was selected to play the lead, but he dropped out of the project, as he did not want to play a mature character at an young age. The makers then approached their favourite Chiranjeevi Sarja to play the lead.
The team has completed two days of shoot in Bengaluru and have also chosen beautiful locations in Mangaluru and Udupi where they have planned the next schedule.
