Bengaluru: The State Government has appointed actor Kichha Sudeep as the Ambassador for the ‘Punyakoti Dattu Yojana’ (cow adoption scheme). It is a programme that creates awareness on cattle adoption.
Animal Husbandry Minister Prabhu Chauhan has written letter to Sudeep in this regard. Chauhan had written, “To inspire and create awareness about the noble initiative by the State Government among people of the State, the State Animal Husbandry Department is happy to announce that the Government has officially appointed you as the Ambassador on your birthday (September 2).”
Animal Husbandry Minister Prabhu Chauhan had written a letter to Sudeep to be the Ambassador of the initiative. He has accepted it without any remuneration. The actor says protecting cows is a service to the society.
