The bike which Sudeep rode in “Mukunda Murari” will be auctioned for charity purpose. It is currently displayed at Menaka Theatre and will also be displayed in theatres of Shivamogga, Hubbali, Davangere and Tumakuru. On November 11, the auction will start at 11 am. The makers will donate the money from the auction to Shivakumara Swamiji of Siddganga Mutt and seek his blessings.
The bike plays a important role in the film. Upendra is chased by goons in the film, when Sudeep who plays Lord Krishna is shown riding this bike and saves Uppi. Fans of Sudeep and Upendra who watched “Mukunda Murari” have been wanting to buy the bike. That’s when the team came up with the idea. In fact, a person has already come forward to buy it for Rs 2 lakh.
The film is performing very well at the box office. Even after facing stiff competition from “Santhu Straight Forward”, it has managed to do well.
