Tom and Jerry is a cartoon that has entertained many of us in our childhood. Now, coming to entertain us once more is another kind of Tom and Jerry and this time as a movie in Sandalwood. The trailer of the film is now out and it has left audiences in splits. It opens with the hero rendering bombastic dialogues about how one should lead one’s life and thinks of himself as a badass.
He meets his match in the heroine who similarly has her own philosophy about life and speaks her mind. Needless to say, the hero and heroine are forever contradicting each other, yet falling in love with one another. The actors are a treat to watch say fans who have left encouraging comments to the trailer. Tom and Jerry which has been directed by Raghav Vinay, went on floors quietly and similarly completed shooting in utter discretion and is now ready to hit theatres on November 12.
Starring Nischith Korodi and Chaithra Rao, the movie is the debut directorial of Raghav Vinay who is one of the dialogue writers of KGF.
Aimed at the youth, Tom and Jerry is message oriented with a focus on friendship, love, anger and action. The movie has been backed by Raju Sherigar and this is his maiden production under the banner Riddhi Siddhi Films. Vinay Chandra is the executive producer.
Tom and Jerry sees Surya Shekhar playing the villain. Prominent actors Tara Anuradha, Jai Jagdish, Kote Prabhakar, Kaddipudi Chandru, Prakash Tummminadu, Padmaja Rao and Maithri Jaggi also feature in it. Mathews Manu has scored the music, Suraj Ankolekar has edited the flick while Arjun Raj has choreographed the stunts
