Aditi Gautam debuted in Tollywood in 2008 with the film “Neninthe”, and since then, she has appeared in several films such as Vedam and Sanju, as well as several other projects. Aditi Gautam was recently featured in Pakka Commercial alongside Gopi Chand and Raashii Khanna.
Having been away from the movie industry for nine years, she returned to the industry with Pakka Commercial. Besides, following its success on the big screens, the movie “Pakka Commercial” has gone on to enjoy great viewership on various OTT platforms.
Having mostly played serious roles in her acting career, Pakka Commercial was a totally different experience for her because it was a commercial, funny, and involved some fun elements. As part of her role, she had to dye her hair in order to fit her role, she says, “I actually had red hair when I went to a meeting, and it was my director’s vision who said, ‘Yes, you can play the role of Amulya, you can play Saira Bhanu as well,’ and so I did it.”
Sharing her key learning experience in the industry, Aditi believes that working with some of the industry’s top actors has taught her some of the most valuable lessons in her career. “Working with actors and co-actors has been like taking a crash course in improving my work, understanding my craft, and gaining a deeper understanding of cinema,” she added.
She is least likely ever to feel the need to compare herself to anyone else in the industry since she has no fear of competition. She believes that everyone has their own unique personality, acting style, performance style, and luck. She adds, “You are your own competition. You need to find your own race and your own path to achieve your goals.”
Sanju fame Aditi Gautam points out that she doesn’t have a role model in the industry to whom she can look up and aspire. Furthermore, she shares her perspective: “In my opinion, what works for others may not necessarily work for me right now. The best way to achieve success is to follow your own path, which may be less risky than copying someone else and following in their footsteps since everyone has their own time and place that applies to their own lives, especially when it comes to achieving success. All I need to do is focus on what I can do better and be my own role model.”
Moreover, describing her weight loss journey, she shared that her gynaecological pain caused her to become aware of her shocking weight gain of 74 kg. Due to this, her doctor advised her to lose weight and change her diet and lifestyle. “As for me, it was a wake-up call that forced me to pay attention to myself, to improve my lifestyle, and to change the way I was living,” she added.
In order to achieve her fit appearance, she consulted a dietician who advised her not to starve herself but to eat proper food at the right time and in the right way. “Fortunately, due to my diet combination, I was losing weight every month, so that was a great motivation for me to keep working out and doing cardio every day,” she said.
