Speaker U T Khader appoints special team to find Neermarga missing student
In a decisive move, Karnataka Assembly Speaker U T Khader has instructed the police force to establish a dedicated unit to locate 19-year-old Nitesh Belchada, who has been untraceable since February 13. Nitesh, a paramedical student from Neermarga, belongs to Bajpe Mooduperara village.
This directive follows closely on the heels of the Diganth missing case, where a youth from Farangipete vanished and was discovered in Udupi nearly 10 days later. His disappearance had triggered widespread public protests, compelling authorities to intensify search operations.
Concerned by the increasing number of youth vanishing under mysterious circumstances, Speaker Khader has urged police officials to act swiftly and ensure Nitesh is found at the earliest. The special team has been assigned the responsibility of conducting extensive investigations, gathering clues, and coordinating search operations.
Law enforcement agencies are collaborating with local residents, reviewing CCTV footage, and verifying possible leads to trace Nitesh’s whereabouts. Meanwhile, his worried family and friends await updates, hoping for a safe return.
Authorities are calling on citizens to report any information that could aid in locating the missing student, emphasizing that every second counts in such cases.
