Bisibele Bath: Traditional and wholesome breakfast

A traditional, flavourful rice and gram (kadale kaalu) based dish from Karnataka cuisine is one of the most popular South Indian breakfast. This is probably the most common recipe prepared in every home in Karnataka. Mostly for breakfast and sometimes for lunch too, this is the most preferred rice recipe.

Like some snacks, no matter how old they are, they never lose their importance and popularity. Bisi Belebath is one of them. Bisibele Bath uses a variety of vegetables and pulses to become that wholesome recipe. Now, Bisibele Bath masala powder is available in shops and so making it is an easy task. But its better to prepare masala powder at home and also that it is good for health.

Loaded with different varieties of fresh vegetables, this one-pot dish, especially made with brown rice and a wide variety of vegetables, short grain rice, toordal, tamarind, jaggery, carrots, peas, beans, bell peppers and bisibele bath powder form the base of most versions.

This goodness recipe tempered with pure ghee is amazingly delicious.
