Learn to say no even if it is hard to say so

It’s never easy to say “no” to someone, whether it’s to reject a project or a proposition. We worry about the consequences that will follow in the future if we say “no.” We tend to receive favorable replies when we say “yes” to everything, and the instant we say “no,” we are turned wrong.

This being said, we tend to please everyone by saying “yes” to everything. Even when you are being controlled by the person asking you to do something, saying “no” is not always an easy thing to do. Perhaps this is why we frequently ask ourselves how we can say no to someone, yet we always end up saying “Yes” for whatever reason. Learn to say “no” when it is necessary rather than when you are already facing major repercussions.

You’re not being nasty, selfish, or harsh if you say no. All of these false notions make it difficult to say no. Since we are all adults, we are more responsible and able to make our own decisions. We also understand the difference between right and wrong. Polite rejection is well received by all and is an excellent negotiation tactic.
After all, you should prioritize your wants and feelings because you are the most significant person in your life.

When your needs conflict with those of someone you care about a lot, it can feel very difficult. Therefore, the word “no” shouldn’t be considered taboo; rather, it should be something we choose for ourselves based on our own judgment.
