Mangaluru: An extract of the live telecast by NewsKarnataka.com of the Vishwa Tulu Sammelana in Dubai last month, in which Tuluva Suniel Shetty, the much-loved Bollywood star had a “coffee with the audience” as he put it, was premiered on NewsKarnataka’s Facebook page on Sunday. Within 48 hours of its premiere, it resembled a runaway Bollywood hit – It garnered 2 lakh plus views and the count is climbing.
The extravagant and much awaited Vishwa Tulu Sammelan was held in Dubai on the 23rd and 24th of November and was a glittering event telecast live by NewsKarnataka.com on its website and facebook page. The Live telecast was a massive hit with NewsKarnataka’s followers, the event’s organizers and the stars and delegates at the event – All of them experienced NewsKarnataka.com first hand at its stall there and through its live telecast to Tuluvas back home.
B-Town’s Anna is Tulunad’s Anna too. He enthralled the audience, with his refusal to make a speech – He preferred he said, to answer questions – even googlies, over a cup of virtual coffee! The questions put to him ranged from his favourite Tulunad traditional food item, (he likes them all he said), to his shift from the hotel industry of his father to the film industry (he says the hotel industry taught him the values he holds dear today) and the prospects of his son in the film Industry.
