When discussing love, it must be unrestricted. In reality, there is no such thing as unconditional or conditional love. Just as there is love and there are conditions. When a condition is present, it merely functions as a transaction. Perhaps a simple transaction or a nice arrangement many people have made amazing arrangements in life but those things won’t make you happy or take you anywhere. It is merely practical.
Love does not have to be convenient when you say it. Frequently, it is not. It takes life. Love eats you up, therefore it’s not a good thing to do. You shouldn’t be in love if you can avoid it. Only until you as a person are willing to fall will it happen. It is just a convenient scenario if your individuality is maintained throughout.
The difference between a genuine love affair and a transaction must be understood. A romantic relationship need not be with one specific individual. You can be deeply in love with life rather than any specific person. Your actions and inactions are influenced by the environment. Our actions are dictated by the circumstances outside of us. Anything you accomplish outside of yourself is constantly contingent upon a variety of factors. But love is an internal state; it is possible to be unconditional from within.
