Samarth Shenoy, a native of coastal Karnataka and young magician of international fame who was inspired in his childhood towards magic world.  Samarth who is embodied with magic talent has staged several magic shows both across the nation and worldwide countries.  He was inspired by a magic show when he was thirteen-year-old, and learned the tricks with hard work and perseverance since then he did not look back.

Samarth has already staged several shows in Switzerland, Germany, Indonesia, Tanzania etc.  He joins the magicians group overseas in staging different magic shows that is his another attributes.

Besides his hand skills, he is exploring new magic techniques, among them he had already staged magic stunts such as milk can escape and blind fold bike ride.  He has done Limca Record by riding a motorcycle blindfold for ten-hour without food and water covering a distance of 310 kilometers from Mysore to Mangalore. He is the first magician to stage milk can escape stunt magic in Mysore during December 2011.  Samarth has already staged over thousand magic shows.

He has bagged first place in International Brotherhood of Magician competitions held in Kannur, Kerala during 2000.  He was the first in international magic competition “Giligili” that was held in Udupi during 2001.  He has received  4 international, 3 national and 1 state award.

Nonetheless, Samarth staged a maiden show in Star Plus reality show “Kuch karke dikana hai.

He has been mentored by magician M P Hashil on hand skills and stunt master Satish Hemmady on adventurous stunts. “Satish Hemmady and Dean Gunnarsan are my role models in stunts and M P Hasheel in hand skills,” says Samart.  He regrets that in India magicians do not get any great support.

“Magic was invented in India, while the magicians from other countries popularized it.  The magic shows did not get popularity in the country and magicians does not get due encouragement.  If the magicians from other countries perform magic stunts in India that makes major news, while if a Indian magician does it, none will care for it,” says Samarth.

Samarth is planning to create world record, by staging “Ujwal” fire and bus escape magic stunt on Thursday August 15 during Independence Day celebrations in Mysore.  In a dangerous fire and bus escape stunt, Samarth will be lowered by a crane into the burning heap of bay after securing him with chains and locking. To escape unharmed is known as fire and bus stunt.  It will be for the first time, a crane will be used in magic.  This stunt will be held at Silent Shores Resort, Mysore at 7.00pm.  The state health minister U T Khader will be the special invitee to witness this magic stunt.

It will be the first free show that would cost huge money.  Those who wish to sponsor can contact Samarth on mobile number: 9845251949.
