Tailor killed in tragic bus collision on Kanakapura Road

A 45-year-old tailor lost his life in a devastating accident at Sarakki signal on Kanakapura Road on Sunday evening. The fatal crash occurred around 7:50 pm when a private bus ran over the victim’s head, causing critical injuries that led to his death on the spot.
The deceased, identified as Shankar from Bommanahalli, leaves behind his wife and two children. Authorities swiftly responded, detaining the bus driver and seizing the vehicle. A case has been registered at the Kumaraswamy Layout Traffic Police Station, with an investigation currently underway.
The tragic incident has raised concerns about road safety and reckless driving in Bengaluru.
