
Udupi: Two College Students Missing in Shirva
In a concerning incident, two college students, a girl and a boy, have gone missing after leaving their homes on September 23 under the jurisdiction of Shirva police station.
Disha Pai (19), a resident of Moodubelle and a second-year BBA student at a Udupi college, left her home that morning, informing her parents she was headed to college. However, she never returned, and her phone has been switched off since. Classmates confirmed that Disha did not attend college that day. Her father, Vivek Pai, has filed a missing person complaint at Shirva police station.
Similarly, Dhanush G Purusha (20), a resident near the Brahmalingeshwara temple in Kattingeri Boothabettu, also disappeared the same day. He informed his family that he was going to play the Chende drums around 7 am but did not come back. Dhanush is a second-year student at a private college near Padubelle Pajaka. Despite inquiries with his classmates and relatives, no clues have been found regarding his whereabouts.
Shirva police have registered cases for both students and are continuing their investigation.
