Udupi: Under the leadership of Udupi district Deputy Commissioner G Jagadeesh, a project has been introduced to enable the public to avail the DC office’s services in a simple and fast way from their own homes.
This is an innovative project where the public can get their work done at the DC office by telephone, WhatsApp, or email.
The services can be availed via the telephone number: 0820-2574931, 0820-2571500. Members of the public can inquire about the work they are required to do, and what is currently being done for them, including their request and applications.
Work and urgent requests can be submitted with the required documents via the email address udupidc.helpline@gmail.com or WhatsApp number 98808 31516.
In view of the increasing COVID-19 cases, the general public has been advised not to visit DC’s office in Manipal and make use of the new arrangements.
However, the Deputy Commissioner’s office has said that only in the case of emergencies, the people can visit the DC’s office. Those who have symptoms of COVID-19 are not allowed to visit the DC’s office, DC G Jagdeesh informed.
