A friend of mine who wished to buy a SUV(Sports Utility Vehicle) car was however postponing his purchase on getting to know that Ford would come up with a brand new SUV. Though I felt he was crazy, after a glance at the EcoSport launched by Ford to the market recently,I felt he was right in postponing the purchase.
If cars of some brands are a sensation with the youth, some models are liked by middle-aged people. There are some models that enter the market targeting a particular group. But the Ford EcoSport Car is one vehicle that is a delight not only to SUV lovers but for all car lovers.
Sitting at the driving seat of a Ford EcoSport gives a whole new comfort experience coupled with bucket seat. Those with a short stature who have a complaint that they cannot have a view of the road in front, should take a test drive of Ford EcoSport to feel the difference. The driving seat that can be raised to any height makes driving a pleasurable experience. The Electric Steering too is an added feature. The Turning Radius of this vehicle is also quite good and makes city ride too joyful. The pick-up is excellent. The Ford EcoSport features are so outstanding that they are no less when compared to costly SUV cars.
A speed of over 150 km during drive would certainly not matter considering the satisfactory ground clearance and brakes. The attractive dash board design too is eye catching. The Stepney in the rear gives a new look to the vehicle. When compared to other SUVs, the owner of a Ford EcoSport will never regret that he has not bought a more expensive car. The EcoSport is beyond doubt a Budget Sports Utility Vehicle too.
Presently,the Ford EcoSport vehicle is in much demand and there are at least 35 to 40 bookings per month, say Cauvery Ford Marketing Team Leader Veeresh and Sales Manager Umesh who had come along with me for a test drive.The two also add that there are customers who are ready to wait for some time to own such a SUV. I too had a feeling that there was no exaggeration in whatever they have said.
After stepping out of the car following a Test Drive, I had a sense of satisfaction. Considering the popularity of this vehicle, there is no doubt that this is the favourite of car lovers.
EcoSport is available in petrol—diesel 1.5 engine in seven colour variants. As Black and White Colours are more attractive there is much demand for the same. The EcoSport Petrol Engine vehicle’s ex-showroom price ranges from Rs 5.82 lakhs to Rs 8.89 lakhs while diesel engine vehicle’s ex-showroom price ranges from Rs 6.81 lakhs to Rs 9.16 lakhs.
