The student, who was getting thrashed in the video that had gone viral, has now opened up and said that the bullies, who are the sons of a dreaded gangster in Bihar, had threatened to kill him if he reported the matter.

After a shocking video had surfaced from Muzaffarpur in Bihar showing two school children brutally thrashing their fellow classmate, the victim has come out in the open with an appalling detail.

The two rowdy brothers, Vishal and Vikky, who are sons of a local gangster and were caught on camera thrashing their classmate, in Muzaffarpur’s Kendriya Vidyalaya, had threatened to kill the victim if he raised the issue with the school administration.

The victim, Uttam Kumar, disclosed this after a team of senior officials of Kendriya Vidyalaya today visited Muzaffapur to conduct an inquiry into the incident.

The video had gone viral on the social media:

‘THEY THREATENED TO KILL ME, NOT LET ME APPEAR FOR EXAMS IF I REPORTED’

“Both the boys, who are actually brothers, beat me up. They threatened me not to report the incident to anyone or else they would kill me. They also threatened that they would not let me appear for my exams if I reported the matter to the school principal”, Kumar said.

Shockingly, this is not the first time that the ruffian brothers, who are sons of a dreaded local gangster Shashi Bhushan alias Fauji, had beaten up Uttam Kumar.

THEY HAD BEATEN HIM EARLIER AS WELL

Uttam said he was victimized by the two brothers earlier as well.

Vishal’s and Vikky’s gangster father is presently lodged in Motihari jail. There are several cases of murder and kidnapping registered against the father, Shashsi Bhushan.

“The elder brother said he wanted to talk to me but the younger brother immediately came and started beating me up. Earlier also, these boys had beaten me. They threatened that they would get me beaten up from boys outside the school”, Uttam Kumar said.

POLITICS OVER THE INCIDENT

Meanwhile, the Janta Dal(United) jumped into the entire controversy and raised questions asking why was the incident which took place on August 25 covered up for more than one and half months.

The JDU(U) members also asked why no action was taken against the guilty students and the principal who tried to bury the matter.

JD(U) spokesperson Ajay Alok said that since Kendriya Vidyalayas come directly under the Union HRD Ministry, the onus lied on the Centre to take action.

“It is shocking how this entire matter which happened on August 25 was downplayed by the school principal. Since the Kendriya Vidyalayas come under the Union HRD Ministry, there was a concerted effort to cover up by the Centre,” Alok said.

Alok asked, “Why has the Minister of State in Union HRD, Upendra Kushwaha, not taken any action till now?”
