However, Hotel for Dogs has taken up the noble cause of providing shelter to the canines in Chennai.
A Facebook Post from Hotel for Dogs reads:
As the rains keep pouring and our city is slowly sinking. We have been getting a lot distress calls from dog owners requesting us to board their dogs as they have been told to evacuate from their houses. As we cant take in dogs at the Hotel in chennai we have decided to help dogs to move to our Bangalore facility tomorrow. All arrangements have been made for your dogs to travel safely to our Bangalore facility. They would be brought back once the situation is back to normal in chennai. We have limited seats.

Hotel for Dogs has urged the dog owners of Chennai to send the dogs to their shelter, from where they would transport the pets to their Bangalore shelter house.
The noble group promises to keep the canines safe and send them back to their owners once Chennai returns to normalcy.
