We should think of our children’s future, Gopal Shetty

Mumbai :All the tulu-kannadigas should unitedly work for the society. A hall will be constructed at Borivali-Dahisar area to hold wedding ceremonies of tulu-kannadigas at low cost. I did not want  to contest but still people have voted for me. So we all should work to ensure a better future for our children, said new MP Gopal Shetty.

He was addressing the gathering at a public programme organised at Hotel Avenue. He was felicitated by Bunts association of Mumbai, Jogeshwari-Dahisar committee. 

Identity cards were given to the members of Bunts association.School children were provided books and other useful things on the occasion.

Karnire Vishwanath Shetty vice president of Bunts association in his presidential address said that the local committees are backbone of the Bunts association. Students who got benefits from the association should not forget us in future.

Jogeshwar-Dahisar Local committee President Mundappa Payyade said that we are proud to send one of our member to Delhi as the MP.

Later Gopal shetty was felicitated by the association. He was also honoured by Rangappa Gouda and the  members of the Vokkaliga association.

Brahmashree Narayan Guruswamy movie producer Rajashekar Kotian also was felicitated.

Businessman Padmanabha Payyade, world bunts vice-president Aikala Harish Shetty, Rathnakar Shetty Mundkur, C A Sadashiva Shetty, Mahesh shetty, Raghuram shetty, Ultur Mohan Das Shetty, Padmavathi Shetty, Vijaya Bhandary, shiv prasad shetty were present on the dais.

Nithyananda Hegde welcomed the gathering. Raghunath shetty and ashok shetty were the masters of ceremony.

Manohar shetty proposed vote of thanks.
