Woman Fan Causes Commotion Outside Ballari Prison Demanding to Meet Actor Darshan
A woman named Lakshmi, from Kalaburagi and currently working in Bengaluru, created a scene outside Ballari Central Prison on Thursday, insisting on meeting jailed actor Darshan, who is facing trial in the Renukaswamy murder case. Lakshmi traveled to Ballari specifically to see the actor and even came prepared to marry him, bringing a bag of fruits as a gift.
Lakshmi expressed her deep admiration for Darshan and declared her readiness to become his wife, stating, “I like Darshan very much and I am prepared to be his wife.” She argued that Darshan, currently married to Vijayalakshmi, needs a supportive partner like her. Lakshmi had previously attempted to meet the actor at Parappana Agrahara Central Prison in Bengaluru but was denied access.
Outside Ballari prison, Lakshmi questioned the reasoning behind Darshan’s transfer from Bengaluru to Ballari and voiced her opinions on issues such as smoking and drinking, stating, “Who doesn’t smoke or drink these days? In cities, even young women do these things. Otherwise, ban cigarettes and alcohol.”
Despite her persistent efforts, the Ballari jail staff and police managed to convince Lakshmi to leave after some persuasion, preventing any further escalation of the situation.
