Paris: As huge security crackdown following the ghastly Paris terror attack, the French government has decided to close as many as 160 mosques in the coming months.

It is said that three ‘radical’ mosques have been shut down in France since the nation declared state of emergency after last month’s terror attack, which is now being looked at a pre-cursor to a trend that will nationalised soon.

Media reports stated that about 160 Mosques running without proper licenses, advocating hatred will be shut down.

The reports speak of some Mosque resorting to using ‘Takfiri’ speeches, which as per Chaplain for Muslims in French Prisons was not allowed even in Islamic countries.

Since May 2012, France has expelled 65 imams and preachers, 34 of them this year.

Meanwhile, a pig`s head was discovered on Tuesday in front of a Muslim prayer room at Ecquevilly in the Yvelines west of Paris. Police said worshippers found it sitting in a flower pot when they arrived for prayer.
