Stockholm: A masked man attacked people with a sword, at the Kronan school in Trollhattan, near Goteborg in western Sweden on Thursday, Oct 22, 2015. At least six people were injured, and the offender was shot by the police. The local Goteborg Tidning daily said that six people, including four students, one adult and the perpetrator have been injured in the attack. A live feed on its web site showed people standing outside a red-brick building with police cars and ambulances parked outside.
Swedish police say they have shot the masked man who attacked the school in southern Sweden, injuring at least one person.
Students fled on Thursday morning from the Kronan school in Trollhattan, near Goteborg, Sweden’s second-largest city. The school has 400 students, ranging from pre-school to high school.
Police in Trollhattan said the attack took place in the school’s cafe area. They had no immediate report on the conditions of the attacker or the other injured person.
