Washington: During the festive season of Christmas it is a tradition of the White House to have the President of the United States and the First Lady answer some of the calls from the call centre of NORAD (North American Aerospace Defense Command) made by children regarding their queries on Christmas presents.
But this time around, the President of the United States Donald Trump did not seem inviting to one of them, especially regarding his (Trump) belief towards Santa Claus.
An eight-year-old from Britain had got an opportunity to converse with US President Trump.
In the beginning, Trump spoke to the child very friendly wishing him Christmas greetings and also asked how he was doing. But when it came to querying on Christmas presents the child was surprised by the questions that Trump asked in return.
He asked the child whether he still believed in Santa and concluded by wishing him to enjoy the festive season.
Within moments this comment was flooded on the social networking platform inviting adverse response where most felt that it was not the way to greet and treat a child.
