Tata Motors is welcoming the new year with updates across its vehicle lineup, starting with the Nexon. The sub-4-meter SUV now introduces three fresh variants and two new colour options, while saying goodbye to the iconic Fearless Purple and Flame Red shades. While the Dark Edition remains available, the Kaziranga Edition has been discontinued.
New and Updated Variants The 2025 Nexon starts at Rs 8 lakh with the reintroduced Smart trim, which replaces the previous Smart (O) entry-level variant. This version comes standard with six airbags, full LED lights, multiple drive modes, and a fully digital instrument cluster. The sunroof is available as an option from the second most affordable variant, Smart +, onward.
The three new variants added to the Nexon lineup include:
- Pure Plus – Equipped with a 10.25-inch infotainment system, wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, auto-folding ORVMs, rear parking camera, and 4-inch digital instrument cluster.
- Creative – This variant adds a 360-degree camera, 16-inch alloy wheels, push-button start, automatic climate control, and USB Type A and C ports.
- Creative Plus PS – Features a panoramic sunroof, bi-LED headlights, front fog lamps, a tyre pressure monitoring system, and wireless phone charging.
Colour Options The Nexon now offers seven colours, including the new Grassland Beige and Royal Blue, in addition to Pristine White, Daytona Grey, Pure Grey, Ocean Blue, and Carbon Black.
Engine Specs The 2025 Nexon retains its engine options, offering a 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine (118 bhp, 170 Nm), a 1.5-litre diesel (113 bhp, 260 Nm), and a CNG variant (98.5 bhp, 170 Nm). The petrol engine can be paired with a 5-speed/6-speed manual, 6-speed AMT, or 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The diesel variant comes with a 6-speed manual or AMT, and the CNG variant has a 6-speed manual gearbox.
