New Delhi: Kawasaki has revealed the 2027 Ninja H2, bringing a series of updates to its supercharged flagship motorcycle. The latest version gets a revised engine, updated braking hardware, refreshed electronics and a new display, while retaining the model’s signature 998cc supercharged inline-four engine. The update also allows the Ninja H2 to meet Euro5+ emissions standards, paving the way for its return to markets where stricter emission regulations had limited its availability.
The 2027 Ninja H2 continues Kawasaki’s distinctive supercharged motorcycle formula, but the latest model has been substantially revised beneath its familiar exterior. Alongside the standard Ninja H2, Kawasaki has also brought back the Ninja H2 Carbon for the new model year.
2027 Kawasaki Ninja H2 gets revised supercharged engine
The biggest changes to the 2027 Ninja H2 are centred on its engine. Kawasaki has retained the 998cc liquid-cooled inline-four with a centrifugal supercharger, but the powertrain has been reworked to comply with Euro5+ emissions regulations.
The revised engine uses changes to the intake system, cylinder head and exhaust system. The updated specification is designed to improve the motorcycle’s performance characteristics while meeting the latest emissions requirements.
According to current reports, the revised engine produces slightly less peak power than the previous specification. Earlier homologation documents had indicated a significant reduction in certified output, while the production specification now confirmed by Kawasaki focuses on improved mid-range torque delivery and Euro5+ compliance.
The maximum torque is now delivered at 8,500rpm, giving the motorcycle a stronger emphasis on its mid-range performance.
New Brembo brakes for the supercharged motorcycle
The 2027 Ninja H2 also receives upgraded braking hardware. Kawasaki has fitted Brembo Hypure callipers to the motorcycle, replacing the previous braking setup.
The updated braking system is paired with a high-specification suspension package. The motorcycle continues to use KYB hardware at the front and an Öhlins unit at the rear, maintaining the performance-oriented chassis specification associated with the H2.
The combination of revised braking hardware and updated engine characteristics is intended to complement the motorcycle’s supercharged power delivery.
Updated TFT display and electronics
Another major change is the motorcycle’s updated TFT instrument display.
The new display provides additional information related to the supercharged powertrain, including dedicated visualisations for the supercharger system. It also displays information such as lean angle, giving riders additional data while riding.
The 2027 model continues to offer a comprehensive electronics package. This includes updated traction control, launch control, a quickshifter and cruise control.
These features are designed to manage the motorcycle’s high-performance power delivery while providing greater control and convenience during road and performance riding.
Kawasaki Ninja H2 Carbon returns
Kawasaki has also confirmed the return of the Ninja H2 Carbon alongside the standard Ninja H2.
The Carbon version retains the distinctive supercharged mechanical package while adding carbon-fibre bodywork elements and exclusive styling details. It is positioned above the standard H2 in the range.
The H2 Carbon’s return is significant because the variant had previously been offered as a more exclusive version of Kawasaki’s supercharged flagship.
Styling remains familiar
The 2027 Ninja H2 retains the recognisable design language of the model, including its aggressive fairing and distinctive supercharged-engine packaging.
Rather than introducing a completely new body design, Kawasaki has concentrated on mechanical and electronic updates for the latest model. The familiar silhouette therefore remains, while the changes are focused largely on the engine, brakes and rider interface.
The motorcycle continues to use Kawasaki’s signature high-gloss finish, with Mirror Coated Spark Black listed for the updated model in current reports.
2027 Kawasaki Ninja H2 price
The 2027 Kawasaki Ninja H2 has so far been announced for selected international markets. In the UK, the motorcycle is priced at £28,600, which converts to approximately ₹36.9 lakh based on current reported conversion figures.
The European pricing reported for the motorcycle is around €34,900, while the Ninja H2 Carbon is listed at approximately €38,200 in some European markets.
These international prices should not be treated as an India ex-showroom price. Kawasaki has not announced an India launch price for the 2027 Ninja H2 at this stage.
Ninja H2R continues as the track-focused model
The road-going Ninja H2 remains distinct from the Ninja H2R, which is designed exclusively for closed-course use.
The H2R continues to sit at the top of Kawasaki’s supercharged motorcycle line-up and uses a more extreme specification intended for track riding. Current reports indicate that Kawasaki will continue offering the H2R on an order basis.
The distinction is important because the H2 is designed for road use, while the H2R is a track-only motorcycle with substantially different performance and aerodynamic hardware.
When will the 2027 Ninja H2 be available?
The updated Ninja H2 and H2 Carbon are expected to enter showrooms in selected markets from December 2026, according to current reports.
The UK has been confirmed as one of the markets receiving the 2027 model, while availability in other countries will depend on local regulatory requirements and Kawasaki’s market plans.
For Indian buyers, Kawasaki has not yet announced a confirmed launch date or India-specific price for the 2027 Ninja H2.
