Kawasaki has unveiled the 2027 KLE650 and KLE650 SE adventure motorcycles, featuring a 649cc parallel-twin engine, long-travel suspension and modern rider aids. The new models are designed for adventure touring, combining off-road-inspired styling with features suited to long-distance road riding.
Engine and performance
The KLE650 uses a 649cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine producing 70 hp and 64 Nm of torque. It gets a six-speed gearbox and an Assist and Slipper clutch. Kawasaki has revised the engine’s intake, exhaust and electronic throttle systems to improve low- and mid-range response.
Features and equipment
The motorcycle gets a 21-inch front wheel, a 17-inch rear wheel, long-travel suspension and dual front disc brakes. Standard features include traction control, electronic cruise control and switchable ABS.
The higher-spec SE variant adds a colour TFT display, a bi-directional quickshifter, tubeless spoked wheels, a USB Type-C charging outlet, handguards and a larger windscreen.
Price and India launch
In the UK, the KLE650 is priced at £7,499, while the KLE650 SE costs £8,899. Both models are scheduled to arrive in April 2027. Kawasaki has not confirmed an India launch date or pricing. Kawasaki
