New Delhi: Vida, the electric mobility arm of Hero MotoCorp, has introduced the Dirt.E K3, an electric motorcycle designed specifically for children aged four to ten years. Launched at an introductory price of ₹69,990 (ex-showroom) for the first 300 buyers, the model marks Vida’s entry into the kids’ dirt bike segment and officially debuted at EICMA 2025.

Adjustable design to grow with young riders

The Dirt.E K3’s standout feature is its adjustable chassis, which allows parents to modify the wheelbase, handlebar height, and ride height as their child progresses through different learning stages. The bike is offered in three modular configurations — Small, Medium and Large.

The Small setup has a seat height of 454 mm, the Medium configuration increases it to 544 mm, and the Large setup raises the seat height to 631 mm. Despite its adaptability, the electric dirt bike maintains a lightweight profile at just 22 kg, making it easy for children to manoeuvre.

Safety features tailored for young learners

Safety is a key focus of the Dirt.E K3. The e-bike comes with removable footpegs to help children walk the bike during initial learning, a cushioned chest pad on the handlebar to reduce injury during impact, a magnetic kill switch for immediate cutoff, and a rear motor cover to prevent accidental contact.

While the bike is equipped with a rear brake as standard, buyers can opt for several accessories including a front brake kit, rear suspension, larger suspension at the front, bigger wheels, and road-focused tyres.

Performance for controlled learning

The Dirt.E K3 is powered by a 500W motor paired with a 360Wh removable lithium-ion battery. The model offers three riding modes — Low, Mid and High — allowing children to gradually increase their speed and confidence under supervised training sessions. Its performance and battery capacity make it ideal for short-duration off-road practice or introductory riding lessons.

Parents can also monitor and manage the bike’s performance via a connected smartphone app that enables them to set speed limits, adjust throttle response, and review ride statistics.

Award-winning design

Vida highlighted that the Dirt.E K3 has been honoured with international design recognitions, including the globally acclaimed Red Dot Award. The design philosophy centres around child ergonomics, safety, and modularity, appealing to families looking to introduce their children to motorcycling in a secure and structured manner.

Beginning of a new product family

With the launch of the Dirt.E K3, Vida has signalled its intent to build a full lineup of dirt bikes catering to young riders and enthusiasts. The company is positioning this model as the first in a series, expanding its portfolio beyond electric scooters to a more diverse set of mobility offerings.

The Dirt.E K3 is expected to attract families interested in early-stage off-road training, while also strengthening Vida’s presence in the evolving electric mobility ecosystem in India.
