Bagalkot: Anitha Chavan, a talented athlete from Neelanagar Tanda in the taluk, has made her community proud by winning a gold and a silver medal at the recent Batumi International Wushu Tournament.
The tournament took place earlier this month, and upon her return to Bagalkot, Anitha received a warm welcome and was felicitated by local citizens. She was honored with a shawl at the KSRTC bus stand by Banjara community seer Kumar Maharaj Swami.
