Bengaluru: Here is good news for the flower show lovers. Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa has given green signal to the annual Republic day Lalbhag flower show.
According to the authorities from the horticulture department, the show will start on January 22 and conclude on January 28.
A decision in this regard was taken on Wednesday night after a meeting between CM and horticulture minister Narayana Gowda.
The theme of this year’s flower show will be Covid-19 while a floral tribute for the Covid-19 warriors will be the highlight.
However compared to previous years, this year, the exhibition will be scaled down affair.
Only a few flower models will be created. The number of visitors too are expected to be very less as no special arrangements will be made to carryout publicity.
