Bengaluru: Ongoing CCB investigation into the drug peddling case in the city and its connection to Sandalwood islikely to pose problems for an IPS officer and over 10 senior police personnel.
According to the sources, some of the persons arrested in connection to the case have now revealed names of a few cops who helped them to carry out page 3 parties without any problem.
Plice are trying to establish link between the high-profile parties, politicians and the police.
As these parties can’t be organised without police protection now questions are being raised about why cops were silent all these years.
“The investigation is monitored and followed by tough cops like city police commissioner Kamal Pant, additional commissioner Sandeep Patil and others who are known for keeping the lobbyists away. So, now the entire racket is expected to get bursted,” added sources.
