Belgaum: In a shocking display of disregard, the authorities sent the remains of 20-year-old laborer Yallappa Sannagowda Gundyagola, who died in a factory fire accident, to his father in a plastic bag. The incident occurred in Navage village, where Yallappa had been working to support his family.

Despite the presence of ambulances at the scene, the district administration failed to show even the slightest respect for the young man’s body. His father, Sangowda, was left to carry his son’s remains in a plastic bag, a heartbreaking scene that evoked no sympathy from those around him.

Yallappa was the only son among four children, and his death has left his family devastated. After completing his PUC, he had joined the factory to support his father, but his life was cut short in a tragic accident. His parents are now left to mourn the loss of their son, who had been working for just three months and earning a meager salary of ₹12,000 per month.
