In a disturbing incident in Belagavi district, a 10th-grade student was stabbed by three of his classmates after he allegedly refused to carry their bags. The attack occurred at Valmiki Ground in Gokak, about 610 km from Bengaluru.
The altercation began when the victim declined the request to carry the attackers’ school bags, which escalated into a violent confrontation. The assailants attacked the victim with a knife, injuring him severely on his neck, hands, and stomach. The victim collapsed from excessive bleeding and was rushed to a private hospital, where he is currently undergoing treatment.
The attackers fled the scene after the assault, and Gokak Town Police have launched a search operation to apprehend them. An investigation is underway to determine the full details of the incident.
