A heavy concrete mixer truck lost balance and overturned onto a KA-25 registered sedan near the highway exit close to KLE Hospital, causing a severe accident.

The force of the crash left two individuals trapped inside the crushed vehicle, requiring an urgent rescue effort. Responding without delay, the fire department dispatched a team equipped with specialized machinery. A crane was utilized to safely extract both victims from the wreckage.

The injured have been identified as Parappa Balikai and Ningappa Koppad, both residents of Dharwad. Fortunately, due to the rapid response of the emergency team, they were rescued and immediately transported to KLE Hospital, where they are undergoing medical care.

Authorities have launched an inquiry to determine the factors leading to the accident. Meanwhile, traffic flow in the vicinity was temporarily disrupted as officials managed the situation and cleared the debris.
