A Bengaluru couple has sparked online discussion after sharing a video showcasing the facilities available in their housing society, where they pay ₹60,000 per month for a 2BHK apartment.
The video, posted on Instagram by Radhika and Ekansh—both product managers in Bengaluru—offers viewers a glimpse into the lifestyle and amenities available in their residential complex.
Society designed with open spaces and greenery
In the video, the couple gives a tour of their housing society, explaining that the complex consists of 23 residential towers with large open spaces between them.
They highlight the wide landscaped areas filled with trees, flowers, and greenery, which provide ample space for residents to relax and for children to play. According to the couple, the society frequently hosts community celebrations and festivals in these open areas.
At one point in the video, they remark that the layout almost feels like “a waste of space,” but say the openness is exactly what makes the place attractive to live in.
Resort-like amenities inside the society
The couple also shows the society’s swimming pool area, which includes three separate pools—one for adults and two for children. They describe visiting the pool on weekends as feeling similar to spending time at a resort.
Other facilities highlighted in the video include two grocery stores, two salons, a stationery shop, and an organic store located within the complex, many of which offer doorstep delivery services.
The residential community also features a large clubhouse with indoor and outdoor areas, along with a restaurant and bar that sometimes screens sports events for residents.
Additionally, the complex includes a guest hotel facility, which the couple described as an unusual but interesting feature.
Video triggers mixed reactions online
The video quickly attracted attention online, with many viewers reacting to the monthly rent of ₹60,000 for a two-bedroom apartment.
While some users said the rent seemed high, others pointed out that such prices are increasingly common in Bengaluru’s premium residential complexes.
Some commenters speculated that the property could belong to a well-known luxury housing developer, while others noted that similar apartments in the city often rent for ₹80,000 or more.
The couple’s video has since added to the ongoing conversation about rising rents and lifestyle choices in Bengaluru’s housing market.
