Specialty coffee brand Maverick & Farmer has unveiled its largest outlet in Bengaluru, creating a unique destination that goes far beyond the traditional café experience.
Located on Kothanur Main Road in North Bengaluru, the new 9,000 sq ft experience centre combines a live coffee roastery, café, coffee academy, retail store, podcast studio, conference room and community space under one roof.
More than just a café
Housed in a restored residence, the multi-level property has been designed to immerse visitors in the world of coffee. The centrepiece is a live roastery, where guests can watch coffee beans being roasted in real time through a glass-enclosed viewing area.
The space also offers guided roastery tours, allowing coffee enthusiasts to learn about the roasting process and the journey from bean to cup.
Showcasing Indian coffee innovation
Maverick & Farmer sources beans from estates across India, including its Nellikad Estate in Coorg. The brand is known for experimenting with unique processing methods such as honey sun-drying, cold-smoking and fruit fermentations.
Among its signature offerings are Parama, a chocolate-and-caramel blend created by renowned coffee expert Sunalini Menon, Sunkissed specialty Robusta, Ol’ Smoky cold-smoked coffee and a special blend sourced from tennis star Rohan Bopanna’s estate in Coorg.
Coffee, community and conversations
The beverage menu features both classic and innovative creations, including Clarified Cappuccino, Spresso Citron and Maverick Mazagran. Complementing the drinks is an all-day food menu designed for work meetings, casual gatherings and long conversations.
The experience centre also includes dedicated spaces for workshops, events and community interactions, reflecting the brand’s vision of building a complete coffee ecosystem rather than simply serving beverages.
Open daily from 9 am to 11 pm, the new destination is expected to attract coffee lovers, professionals and curious visitors looking for a deeper connection with India’s growing specialty coffee culture.
