In Bengaluru, a 29-year-old man, Nadilla Mobu Sharif, was allegedly assaulted and forced to strip by his former employer, Sikshavalli, due to a disagreement. The incident, which took place on July 22 but surfaced online recently, involved Sikshavalli attacking Sharif with a cane after an argument over Sharif quitting his job.
A viral video shows Sharif being pressured to undress. Sikshavalli reportedly complained to the police about abusive language used by Sharif, but it was only after the video went viral on August 6 that Deputy Commissioner of Police Lokesh Jagalasar intervened. The police were initially unaware of the assault until the video emerged.
Sikshavalli has been booked and summoned for questioning. Sharif, who had joined another job due to dissatisfaction with his pay, did not file a complaint initially but later revealed the assault to the authorities.
