A Bengaluru woman shared her surprising experience on social media, praising the swift action of the city’s police in recovering her stolen Airpods Pro, worth Rs 25,000, within just 20 minutes. Initially skeptical about approaching the police, the woman decided to seek their help, which led to the quick retrieval of her lost item.
On X (formerly Twitter), she thanked Vijay Kumar and Narsimhamurthy from Madiwala Police Station, along with the Bengaluru City Police team, for their prompt action. She revealed that her Airpods had been stolen from her own house by two delivery men from a furniture app who had entered her bedroom to drop off furniture. One of them took the Airpods without her noticing.
Though the woman reported the theft to the furniture app, they initially requested CCTV footage, which was not available from the bedroom. While the app later contacted her after she posted about the incident on Twitter, no further assistance was provided. In contrast, the police took immediate action, recovering the stolen item within 20 minutes, restoring the woman’s faith in law enforcement.
