Bengaluru: A spectacular showcase of youthful energy, cultural richness, and athletic spirit unfolded at St Francis College, Koramangala, as the national-level inter-college fest Carnivalesque-25 wrapped up in style on April 9.
The two-day extravaganza saw enthusiastic participation from 1,325 students representing 97 colleges across India, blending diverse backgrounds into a celebration of talent and creativity.
The event was formally inaugurated by Karnataka Legislative Assembly Speaker UT Khader and popular actor Vasishtha N Simha. Khader highlighted the importance of such platforms in allowing students to explore their potential and aspire for excellence. Actor Simha echoed this sentiment, stating that events like these offer students a stage to exhibit both intellect and artistry.
Rev Brother Xavier Alexander, Provincial, motivated the students to keep discovering and cultivating their passions. Other dignitaries in attendance included Brother Peter Joseph (Director), Brother Titus (Deputy Director), Dr RN Subbarao (Principal), and Dr Karthik P (Vice-Principal), along with a supportive team of faculty and staff.
The fest featured a dynamic mix of sports competitions and cultural performances, fostering camaraderie and healthy competition. Emerging as the overall winner, St Joseph’s University, Bengaluru, bagged the Championship Trophy, clinching top honors in multiple categories.
Carnivalesque-25 truly stood out as a melting pot of innovation, talent, and unity, leaving behind memories and motivation for all who participated.
