Bengaluru: An unidentified boy, aged around 15, was found dead with a severe head injury near Vibhutipura Lake in Bengaluru on Monday morning, October 12, prompting police to suspect murder.
According to reports, local residents discovered the body near the lake while out for their morning walk. They alerted the police by calling the emergency helpline 112.
Police personnel from the HAL police station rushed to the spot and inspected the scene. The boy had sustained a serious head injury, which investigators suspect may have been inflicted with a blunt object, possibly a stone.
The body was subsequently shifted for a postmortem examination to establish the exact cause of death.
