According to the viral Reddit post, the landlord deducted only Rs 5,000 towards cleaning charges after the tenants vacated the property and returned the remaining deposit without arguments or unnecessary deductions.

The tenant also mentioned that the landlord chose not to charge for a damaged wooden door fixture, reportedly saying the building was old and the wood had naturally weakened over time.

The tenants, who identified themselves as bachelors, said the landlord remained understanding and non-intrusive throughout their stay.
