Bengaluru: A woman was allegedly attacked and robbed of her 25-gram gold chain by unidentified chain-snatchers while she was returning home after closing her milk shop in the Doddabidarakallu area early Wednesday morning. The incident, which occurred at around 5 am, was captured on CCTV and has prompted police to launch an investigation.
The victim, identified as Vijayamma, runs a milk shop in the area. According to her complaint, she was heading home after finishing her work when the accused suddenly approached her and allegedly attacked her before snatching her mangalsutra.
Woman attacked while returning home
