Bengaluru: At a time when many acts of generosity are often documented and shared widely on social media platforms, a woman from Bengaluru has drawn widespread attention online for quietly helping people and animals in her neighbourhood for years without seeking recognition. A video shared on social media showing her serving tea and biscuits to municipal workers during their morning routine has touched many users and sparked appreciation for her selfless efforts.

The video, posted by Instagram user Jagadish Nadanalli, captured what appeared to be a regular morning scene outside the woman’s residence, highlighting simple acts of kindness that had become part of her daily life.

Video captures morning act of generosity

The video showed the woman stepping outside her home carrying tea and biscuits for sanitation workers carrying out their routine duties.

The workers, dressed in their uniforms, were seen accepting the refreshments and warmly interacting with her. The exchange appeared casual and natural, suggesting that such interactions were not a one-time event but part of a long-standing routine.

In the caption accompanying the video, Jagadish reflected on how social media often features videos of people helping poor individuals, elderly persons, auto-rickshaw drivers and roadside vendors while recording every moment for online engagement.

He wrote that in some cases it becomes difficult to understand whether such content is motivated by genuine concern or by the desire for views and attention.
